A look at TECH54, the Polaris Engineered Apparel Clothing Line
One of the big innovations of Polaris in 2020 is the new TECH54 high-performance membrane. Named in honour of the year 1954, the year in which Polaris revolutionized the world of snowmobiling, TECH54 technology has required considerable effort and joint work between our engineers and our customers to develop and refine a unique and exclusive material that can offer exceptional features in terms of waterproofness and breathability. TECH54 is one of the most important innovations to emerge in snowmobiling and will be able to acclimatize to all the different needs of snowmobilers.
Present in all Polaris jackets and overalls, the Polaris Engineered Apparel line of apparel and the system as a whole feature a Water Repellent (DWR) coating that removes water that lands on the TECH54. The latter is waterproof and breathable and is glued to the fabric of the shell to prevent moisture penetration while remaining breathable. There are different levels of breathability allowing clothes to adapt to the different needs of Polaris owners. For example, the 5000mm/5000mm index is designed for those who adopt less active driving, while the 10,000mm/10,000mm index is better suited for more dynamic and engaged riding
Polaris Engineered Apparel's apparel is state-of-the-art yet functional and durable. It's the perfect complement to your new Polaris and the adventures you'll experience this winter.
